In October 2024, according to data from the National Electricity Market Operator (MEMO), 23,307 MWh were produced by 177 preferential producers of electricity from renewable sources in the country, which represents an increase of 66 % compared to September 2023.

Additionally, 5,602 MWh were produced by 91 small hydropower plants, 1,425 MWh by 79 photovoltaic solar power plants, 12,767 MWh by two wind power plants, and 3,513 MW by five biogas and biomass thermal power plants.

The share of electricity produced by preferential producers from renewable sources was 6,28 %.

The total installed capacity of preferential electricity producers from renewable sources is 177,642 MW.
