The All NEMO Committee’s second annual conference in Athens brought together key players in the energy sector.
Our delegation from the National Electricity Market Operator (MEMO) was present at this significant event. Zoran Gjorgjievski, CEO of MEMO, participated in a panel session titled “20 Years of Integrated Markets in Europe: What Comes Next?” alongside Artur Lorkowski, Director of the Energy Community, and regional power exchange directors. The session was moderated by Anže Predovnik, CEO of ADEX and BSP.
Gjorgjievski emphasized the intensive efforts with the Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources to align national legislation with European standards. The aim is to successfully integrate the Macedonian electricity market into the single European market. Achieving this requires a clearly defined certainty in the integration process into the European electricity market.
With over 100 industry leaders, experts, and policymakers in attendance, the conference focused on shaping the future of European energy markets.
